POSITION GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Position: Industrial Project Manager.
  • Location: Kano.
  • Number of positions: 1.
  • Contract Duration: 2 Years

The Industrial Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing industrial projects from concept through completion. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage budgets, timelines, contractors, and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Plan, manage, and deliver industrial projects (factory installations, upgrades, expansions, and process improvements)
  2. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with NutriK’s strategic goals
  3. Coordinate internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and consultants
  4. Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and quality standards
  5. Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
  6. Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management
  7. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization
  8. Support commissioning, handover, and post‑project evaluation
  9. Carry out any additional relevant tasks assigned by the line manager.

REQUIERED SKILLS

Language skills – English.

Education degree – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field). 

Work experience – Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience managing industrial or manufacturing projects

  • Proven experience in factory construction, equipment installation, or production line projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria
  • PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook Other required skills.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, preferably within the agrifood sector
  • Proven experience in quality management systems like ISO 22000, FSSC 22000
  • Strong analytical skills and auditor certification
  • A proactive, organized, and autonomous approach
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus
  • Willingness to travel frequently to host and partner sites

General objective

The Company Cleaner is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the facility. Since the environment involves food manufacturing, maintaining hygiene is essential to prevent bacterial growth and safety hazards. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, proper handling of cleaning chemicals and tools, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace that supports smooth day‑to‑day operations.

RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Perform light industrial cleaning, including but not limited to mopping, sweeping up debris, wiping down machines.
  2. Transport, clean, and sanitize machinery parts as needed.
  3. Be responsible for maintaining a clean environment for the production space.

OVERAL MISSION

General objective

To ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of production equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, timely inspections, and continuous improvement activities in line with company standards, safety regulations, and Lean manufacturing principles.

RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Execute daily preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to the approved PM schedule.
  2. Conduct routine inspections of production and utility equipment to identify early signs of wear, malfunction, or potential failure.
  3. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with standard work procedures and safety regulations.
  4. Execute assigned corrective maintenance work orders based on business and operational priorities.
  5. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, or electro mechanical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
  6. Communicate equipment issues and corrective actions clearly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  7. Contribute to improved equipment designs and manufacturing processes by identifying recurring faults and proposing corrective and preventive solutions.
  8. Actively support Lean initiatives aimed at eliminating waste and reducing non value added activities within the maintenance function.
  9. Drive reliability improvements to ensure the department consistently works toward being the lowest cost service provider.
  10. Maintain accurate and up to date records of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  11. Ensure proper completion and closure of work orders in the maintenance system.
  12. Prepare maintenance reports as required and communicate maintenance status to the supervisor.
  13. Effectively schedule tasks and balance competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  14. Maintain constant communication with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding job progress, challenges, and equipment status.
  15. Regularly check spare parts stock levels related to assigned equipment.
  16. Report low or critical spare parts stock to the supervisor in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
  17. Carry out any additional relevant tasks assigned by the line manager.

REQUIERED SKILLS

Language skills – English.

Education degree – Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance (Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent). Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.

Work experience –  Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance.

Computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel & Outlook

Other required skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
